Absolutely great tour with Angela, which was worth every penny. She explained the fascinating cultural history of the areas with such insight and sensitivity. My 11 year old twins , who are hard to please, had a great time and she was very patient with my autistic boy who loves to heckle!

Our tour guide Angela was fantastic. Angela was so kind and personable with all the attendees. She gave us some wonderful history facts about the city that I would have never known. Angela also gave us some recommendations on restaurants and galleries to try. We were not rushed and she kindly answered our questions.

Do not miss the Greenwich Village walking tour with Angela! It is one of the best! She was so fun, enthusiastic, high-energy, full of great stories, including her own, about the history, culture and political movements of the Village, and even sent out a list of recommendations afterwards for great food, music, comedy, shopping, you name it.

Our family of four loved this tour. Our guide Angela was incredibly knowledgable about the area and the trail blazers who made the Village famous. Highlights were seeing Electric Lady Studios, Bob Dylan’s old hangouts, Grove Court, and Stonewall National Monument. Also received some great food recommendations along the way. A gem in the heart of NYC, highly recommend.

We have lived in NYC all our lives, and love to learn more about this great City. Angela’s tour is a true delight. We learned facts about the Village and Washington Square Park that are fascinating. The walk is easy, even on a weekend in January. We recommend the tour for visitors and locals.

What a great tour of Greenwich Village! There was so much history to be learned. Angela was excellent and provided detailed history and stories about this neighborhood. You could tell that she was passionate about New York history. She was also quite funny and entertaining! I am keeping her list of suggested restaurants and clubs on hand for my next trip to NYC in April!

An outstanding experience! Angela was a great tour guide and was interested in knowing what we wanted to learn about and then she included that in the tour. Answered all questions. Shared interesting historical, architectural and food information. Just the right amounts of stops. And then to cap it off, sent an e-mail with the information about what was seen along the way. The walk through different neighbourhoods was so informative and the details Angela knew of, the nuggets of history that she shared made it so much more colorful! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the Greenwich Village walking tour we did with Angela.
She was very knowledgeable, entertaining and enthusiastic. She had lots of stories to tell about the area and was full of recommendations. She told us what not to bother with and experiences that were worth the hype.
We can’t recommend this tour enough. So pleased that we did it.

Walking tour of Greenwich Village with Angela, highly recommended

My friend and I did the Greenwich Village tour with Angela. I can honestly say it was the best walking tour that I have ever been on in any of the countries I have visited. Angela was warm and engaging and had a great knowledge of the history of the area and its importance in relation to civil rights, gay rights and the music culture in 1960s/70s. She also told us about how she had been personally influenced and affected by the developments in this area of New York City. Following the tour she sent us all an e-mail with lots of information about places to visit that she hadn’t had time to show us in person. We visited a number of these as we decided to return to the village on the next day of our stay in NYC. All in all it was a wonderful experience - I couldn’t recommend the tour and Angela herself more highly.

I have no idea how Angela managed to share as much as she did in the 2 hours we spent. She was professional, articulate, and passionate about history in general. You'll learn a lot even if you call NYC home. She emailed all the details from the tour afterward so you won't have to take notes. Enjoy!

Unmissable walk around fascinating Greenwich Village

This is an amazing walk around Greenwich Village - I highly recommend. Angela is a witty, knowledgeable and very friendly guide; she walks at a fast pace but you need to in order to see all of the sites. Highlights were Jones Street (Freewheelin' Bob Dylan), Cafe Wha ?, Washington Park Square...but everywhere you stop, Angela has an interesting story to tell. This was a real highlight of my week in New York.

Angela, the guide, was amazing. Despite heavy rain throughout, we really enjoyed the tour as Angela's knowledge was excelleny and enthusiasm never wavered despite the weather. So good to learn about the history around Greenwich village as it enhanced the experience greatly. Would highly recommend.

The trip took uns for the frist time to New York, a city of contrasts. In Greenwich village I enjoyed the unique mix of historic architecture, charming alleys and streets, from trendy restaurants right through to characteristic shops. This district exuded a relaxed serenity. I was able to soak up the diverse and cool atmosphere of this district. Finally I can say that only this district but also our tour guide Angela herself contributed a large part to making this excursion special.With her open and communicative manner and winning charisma, she told the stories of the district in such an exciting way that she captivated, thrilled and impressed her listeners.

I would recommend this walking tour to anyone visiting NYC.
Greenwich Village is very walkable, and also full of interesting stories that seem to encapsulate a lot of New York itself, especially her creative, alternative and marginalised sides.
Our guide Angela was very knowledgable, entertaining and passionate about the area, which made for a great overall experience.
It’s definitely our favourite thing that we’ve done in New York so far.

Superb tour of Greenwich Village w/ Angela

My two teenage children and I took this walking tour of Greenwich Village on a recent Christmastime trip to NYC. The tour ended up being one of our very favorite things we did the entire time we were there. Our guide, Angela, was truly excellent! She has a tremendous knowledge of and passion for this area of the city, and it really shines through in her presentation. She had thorough explanations and great anecdotes about every stop on the tour. Of which there were many! A great feature of this tour was how many things you see over the two hours; Angela keeps the tour running at a brisk pace without anything seeming rushed. Angela's other "day job" is as a comedian/actress and you can really tell, she presents and projects very well when she speaks (not true of all tour guides!) and injects plenty of humor along the way. And this this section of the city is just awesome; so much interesting history and culture, not to mention great places to eat, drink, or just hang. I highly recommend this tour w/Angela to anyone visiting NYC!
